Meet Anne Maghas
From the time she was a little girl, Anne Maghas has always strived for excellence. From exceeding her college professor’s expectations to co-founding three successful companies, Anne is a natural connector and serial entrepreneur. Anne has always challenged peoples’ perceptions about what she could be. With a PhD in Chemistry from University of Cincinnati and MBA from Kellogg at Northwestern University, she has used this foundation to fearlessly navigate into spaces with grit and grace.
After gaining valuable experience in Corporate America working on global projects, Anne stepped away to pursue her first entrepreneurial venture by co-founding a data and analytics company, which grew into a multi-million company. Inspired by this success, she then went on to co-found two other businesses in the retail distribution and logistics spaces, skillfully applying her leadership in growing these businesses from employee no.1 to 100+ team members. As an angel investor, Anne brings this same perspective to guiding the female led companies she applies her capital to invest in.
While Anne has dedicated her work life to serial entrepreneurship and investing in other founders, her life’s joy and passion is in mentoring others. For many years she has volunteered her time to coach entrepreneurs at SCORE on how to navigate starting and growing a business.
Anne is not only a passionate speaker and mentor , but also a staunch advocate for female entrepreneurs, tirelessly championing for venture capital to be directed at accelerating women entrepreneurs on their business journeys. A changemaker and ambassador, she envisions connecting different cultures and championing impactful work that brings us closer to equity.With her experience as an entrepreneurial leader and innovator , Anne is well versed in navigating every aspect of the entrepreneurial journey.

When Anne is not connecting people and supporting start-ups, she spends time with her husband, enjoys travels, and being a mother to two boys.
